The writing and recording process for Figure was over the course of 3 years. Music was workshopped instrumentally up until the last 2 months of recording when vocals and lyrics were finally added.

During this time there were even joking conversations about leaving the record instrumental and releasing it as is -- So this seemed like a natural release to me. As far as I'm concerned the album works in both settings and the instrumental version really brings some excellent sonic moments of the record to the foreground.

I am equally as proud of this version and felt it worth sharing. Enjoy!
